Artist's Intent
I love learning, growing, and working in collaborative spaces, as well as moving my body and discovering new ways of moving that are unfamiliar and expressive. I care about how the audience feels during the performance and my own sense of time and space while on an emotional journey. I enjoy creating new work that is allowed to be unfinished and always authentic to the ways in which movement can be revealed.
I want people to see that when I dance, I am human. There is an ebb and flow to dancing and moving but also giving something real to everyone in the world. I want non-dancers and dancers alike to be able to feel emotions that they may not think they are allowed to have. The art of dancing should be freeing and moving more than those just in the profession, and it is necessary to move organically to what feels right. It is such a blessing that I get to do this for the rest of my life, and I am excited to be sharing my art with the world.
